Shopify competitor tracking

Track Your Shopify Competitors and See What Changes

Follow the stores that matter. Evidio re-reads them every day and dates each change: prices, new products, best sellers, stock, ads, apps and traffic.

A one-time teardown becomes outdated. With competitor tracking, Evidio re-reads the stores you follow every day from your browser and gathers what changed in a feed, a calendar and comparisons. It does not send real-time alerts, and a store you do not follow is refreshed only when you analyze it again.

Your team knows what its competitors changed this week without opening each store. Followed stores are re-read every day and each change is dated; a weekly email sums them up. Every conclusion remains tied to public data, timestamps and the known limits of the detection method.

Shopify competitor tracking

How it works

  1. 01

    Find the competitors worth tracking

Use Shopify detection in Google, the shared database or a direct store analysis to identify the brands that matter.

  2. 02

    Follow them

Click Follow on a store. Its history starts from what Evidio already knows, and every later change is added to it.

  3. 03

    Let Evidio re-read them

Followed stores are re-read every day from your browser: catalog, best sellers, stock, apps and ads. Traffic is refreshed every week.

  4. 04

    Read what moved

The tracking table shows, store by store, what changed over 24 hours, 7, 14 or 30 days. The feed and the calendar date each change.

  5. 05

    Compare the stores

Put followed stores side by side on traffic, active ads, score, catalog size, new products, average price, reviews and followers.

  6. 06

    Act on it

Open a store to see the detail, browse the ads of the stores you follow, and export what feeds your launches, pricing or acquisition.

What you can do

01

A table of movements

One row per followed store, one column per kind of change: catalog, advertising, tools and audience.

02

A dated activity feed

Price changes, new products, new best sellers, stock-outs, ads launched or stopped, apps installed and theme changes, each with its date and its image.

03

A calendar of changes

See which days a competitor moves, and when several of them move at once.

04

The ads of the stores you follow

One library for the creatives currently running at your competitors, across ad platforms.

05

Side-by-side comparison

Curves, columns and rankings across nine measures, in volume or in change over time.

Frequently asked questions

Does Evidio monitor competitors automatically?

For the stores you follow, yes: competitor tracking, included with subscriptions, re-reads them every day from your browser. Evidio does not crawl other stores in the background.

Does Evidio send real-time change alerts?

Not in real time. Changes appear in your tracking feed after each daily re-read, and a weekly email sums them up. There are no push alerts.

Which changes are tracked?

Prices, products added or removed, new best sellers, stock-outs and restocks, sales starting or ending, apps, theme, free-shipping threshold, ads launched or stopped by platform, traffic, score, reviews and followers, wherever the data is public.

How many stores can I follow?

5 with Pro, 30 with Business and 50 with Agency, shared across its client workspaces. An add-on adds 10 more. Tracking is not part of the free plan.

Can I compare the results with my own store?

Yes. Follow your own store alongside your competitors and compare them on the same measures.
