A traffic estimate is useful when it helps you compare opportunities, not when it pretends to be exact analytics.
From domain to traffic estimate.

Evidio reads the estimate
The traffic panel fetches SimilarWeb's estimate for the store's domain.
Read the trend and the mix
Volume, direction and sources show how the store grows and what it relies on.
Compare opportunities
Put stores side by side and spend your time on the ones with momentum.
Tell a busy store from a pretty one.
Two stores in your niche look equally polished. One might receive fifty thousand visits a month and the other five hundred, and nothing on the storefront says which.
The traffic panel gives each store an estimated scale, a direction and a source mix. You focus your research on the stores that attract real attention.
Questions it helps answer
- How large does this store appear to be?
- Is its traffic growing or declining?
- Does it rely on paid traffic or on search?
- Which countries does its audience come from?
An estimate is a signal, not private store analytics.
The figures come from SimilarWeb's estimate for the domain, not from the store's Shopify analytics. They are best for comparing stores and reading direction. Small stores often have too little data to estimate; Evidio then says so, and falls back to a store-strength tier built from the store's own signals.
Observed
- Whether SimilarWeb has data for the domain
- A measured figure, when the site shares its analytics with SimilarWeb
Estimated or inferred
- Monthly visits and their trend
- The split between sources, engagement and countries
- The store-strength tier used when no estimate exists
Keep researching this part of the workflow.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the traffic estimate come from?
From SimilarWeb, for the store's domain. Evidio shows it as an estimate everywhere, and marks it as measured only when the site shares its own analytics with SimilarWeb.
Why do some stores show no traffic figure?
Stores under a few thousand visits a month are often not tracked. Evidio shows that absence and a store-strength tier instead of inventing a number.
How far back does the curve go?
SimilarWeb returns the last three months. Evidio keeps every reading, so the curve grows, up to 24 months, as a store is analyzed again.
Which Evidio plan includes this feature?
The Free plan provides a useful limited result or preview. The complete feature and higher limits are available on Pro, Lifetime and Agency.
