Shopify stock checker

Check the Public Stock of a Shopify Product

Run an on-demand stock check for a product and see the quantities the storefront exposes by variant. Treat the result as an inventory snapshot, not verified sales data.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose a product

Open a saved product or a product found during store analysis.

  2. 02

    Start the stock check

Evidio sends an on-demand request using the public Shopify storefront flow.

  3. 03

    Review each variant

See the quantity returned for variants where the store exposes it.

  4. 04

Use the result as a signal

Combine the inventory snapshot with pricing, merchandising and traffic research.

Check whether a promising variant is actually available

Before shortlisting a competitor's product, you check its variants. The popular size is sold out while other variants remain available, giving you a useful availability signal without presenting the result as a confirmed number of sales.

Limits & accuracy

Some Shopify stores hide inventory, cap the quantity returned by the cart endpoint or use fulfillment logic that does not expose exact stock. A lower quantity can result from sales, manual edits, transfers or reservations. Evidio currently stores the latest check, not a complete automatic stock history.

Frequently asked questions

Is the quantity always exact?

Does falling stock prove that units were sold?

No. Inventory can change because of sales, restocks, transfers, reservations or manual edits.

Can Evidio check variants?

Yes, when Shopify exposes variant-level quantities through the public storefront flow.

Which Evidio plan includes this feature?

This feature is available on Pro, Lifetime and Agency. It is not enabled on the Free plan.
