Audit the Performance of Any Shopify Store
A slow storefront is a competitor paying for traffic it cannot convert. Evidio runs a full Google Lighthouse audit on any store and keeps the result beside the rest of your analysis.

How it works
- 01
Get a free Google key
PageSpeed Insights issues one in about a minute. No billing account, no card.
- 02
Paste it into settings
It is stored locally in your browser and sent only to Google.
- 03
Open a store and run
The audit takes fifteen to sixty seconds, and the result is saved with the store.
- 04
Read the four scores
Speed, SEO, accessibility and best practices, plus the Core Web Vitals behind them.
Find the competitor who is beatable
Two stores in your niche take similar traffic. One scores 84 on performance, the other 41 with a 6-second largest paint. The slow one is paying the same for clicks and losing a share of them before the page renders. That is where your speed becomes a selling point rather than a line item, and it is visible before you spend anything.
Limits and setup
This is the one feature that needs a key of your own. Audits run through Google PageSpeed Insights, which is free and allows 25,000 requests a day, but Google issues the key to you rather than to Evidio. Until you paste one into settings the panel appears with its scores empty and tells you so. An audit takes fifteen to sixty seconds and measures one page, usually the home page, from Google's servers rather than from your connection.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I need my own Google key?
PageSpeed Insights issues keys to the person running the audits, and its quota is per key. Yours gives you 25,000 audits a day for free, and it means your usage is never limited by anyone else's.
Is the key free?
Yes. Google issues it without a billing account or a card, and 25,000 requests a day is far beyond what competitive research uses.
What happens before I add a key?
The panel still appears in the store view with its four scores empty and a line explaining the setup, so you can see the feature exists and what it will show.
Which page does it audit?
The URL you are on, which is usually the store's home page. Product and collection pages often score differently, so audit the page you actually want to compare.
Which Evidio plan includes this feature?
This core feature is available on the Free plan. Paid plans add higher limits or complementary capabilities where applicable.
