Map a competitor's ad channels

Before launching your own campaigns you want to know where a rival focuses. Evidio shows an active Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel but no Google tag, signaling they lean on paid social. You prioritize testing TikTok and Meta creatives where demand is proven, and treat Google as a possible uncontested channel.

Limits & accuracy

Evidio detects pixels present in a store's public front-end code, which shows a platform is set up for tracking: not how much a store spends or how it performs. Some pixels load conditionally and can be missed, and a detected pixel doesn't prove an active campaign. Use it to map likely channels, not budgets.

Frequently asked questions

Which ad pixels can Evidio detect?

It detects common pixels including the Meta/Facebook pixel, TikTok pixel and Google tags, plus other advertising trackers when present.

Does a detected pixel mean they're actively advertising?

Not necessarily. A pixel shows tracking is set up for a platform, which strongly suggests use, but it isn't proof of a live campaign or budget.

Can I see how much a competitor spends?

No. Ad spend is private. Evidio maps which channels a store is set up for, not budgets or performance.

Why might a pixel be missed?

Some pixels load only on certain pages or after consent, so occasionally one isn't detected on the page you scan.

Which Evidio plan includes this feature?

This feature is available on Pro, Lifetime and Agency. It is not enabled on the Free plan.
